Erbaluce di Caluso

The wine "Erbaluce di Caluso" DOC is the most famous wine produced in our area.  Dry white wine bearing the name of the town of Caluso, combined with the name of the grape.

The collection of these grapes is carried out with small and low boxes, so as not to compress it during transport. Transported to the winery is destemmed and then softly pressed.  The high technology allows to obtain musts free of solid parts and of impeccable quality.

Then there is the fermentation at controlled temperature, in stainless steel tanks, with inoculation of yeasts. The ageing of several months on its yeast allow their partial lysis with a significant enhancement and development of aromas.  The aim is to obtain a product of high structural richness with the least amount of manipulation by man.

This is how this wine, with light colour but a complex, great, mellow, soft and full-bodied aroma, is produced.
